I live in southern Manitoba, and the coming week’s temps are between 28 and 31C, and humidity is in the 40-70%. Not Florida hot and humid, but our summers can get pretty close. My car’s AC will only come on when I start the car to help get rid of the initial heat from parking in the sun. Then it’s windows down!

Being cheaper is not my issue, I just don’t like the feeling of the cold air coming out of the vents. It’s the same with the AC in my house. My wife pushed to get it, but I’d rather enjoy the warm air (it’s winter 5 months of the year here, so why would I want to be cold in my house for the remaining months?).
