I liked vista, too. I like 7, because the changes from vista are almost unnoticeable.

@clearzero: There's a difference between "made up" and "implied". If a product offers me "freedom from porn" as a selling point, then obviously he thinks it's a good thing for me. It's a moot point, anyway, he let the playboy app in just fine, while banning many things with much, much less "sexual" content. Let's not

I went a little further, and wrote a python script to check if a particular file exists, then execute and delete it. Effectively a crude method to run arbitrary things on my home PC from anywhere I can access dropbox.

@rabbit571: I don't need, or want, Steve Jobs deciding how my morals should be. By all means block the applications, but don't say it's for my own protection - that it's somehow better for me, the consumer, to have fewer choices.

@KupoCheer: I know, it's stupid. There's a My Games folder under documents\, why did Mass Effect 2 save under documents\BioWare\? Annoying!

@saicode: Add-ons are inherently not-bloated, because by definition they aren't necessary for it to run. Yes, running one will mean sacrificing a few resources, but you don't have to run it.

@Maave: It looks like they're just putting a web browser window in - meaning it shouldn't be bloated, the HTML engine is probably loaded anyway.

@countingdown7: Beyond a point, mod installing for oblivion was more of an art than a science. All I know is my mod list is about 300 long, and it's both faster and more stable than it was when I only had a few mods. Magic, I say!

@Bgrngod: No, some of us (myself included) loved fallout 3. However, vanilla it's nowhere-goddamn-near second best of all time. At all.

@Buster Friendly: Well, it wasn't quite "buying stolen goods" levels of bad, and they definitely should have alerted twitter to the issue before posting, but I don't think you can get much worse than the whole iphone thing.

@Russ: General tech? Doesn't sound like something I'd be interested in, I already have my sources for general tech news. Now, an ANDROID site, I don't. That's something that, if I had an android phone, I'd be interested in.

@Buster Friendly: I agree, they've been real jerks this last few months. The twitter thing wasn't as bad, but the iphone thing was just awful. Paying for stories, handling stolen goods, and ruining that poor what's-his-face's career because he made a mistake.

@zrag: Ah, but now you get two fridays in a week! Truly I am envious :)

@zombies.like.lattes.too: I know nothing about cars, sports, or women. Why should I be starred over at their sites?

WOOOOO! READY! TO! FRIDAY!
