@DavinClytias: If everybody did that, then the entire system of torrenting would fall apart. To this end, most clients prefer higher-speed seeders, and blacklist low-speed seeders, so you may have trouble downloading if you succeed :)

@TheFu: I'd honestly never really thought about it. I suppose I'll have to start looking in to what sort of businesses are around here, see if any of them have something I can do.

@ericesque: I suppose, yeah. Everything up to GSCE level, though, I'm perfectly fine with :\

@TheFu: Pretty envious again, now :P

@TheFu: Oh, that certainly would. I was getting pretty envious there, thinking you had 7 physical monitors :P

@dragonskin: Nah, it's ok. My friends are trying.

@dragonskin: Second year A-Levels, exam is in about a month. It's not that I'm not trying, or working - I am, and it's just not clicking. It's been like this for the past 3 years. CS? Getting As, Physics? Bs and Cs. Maths? Lucky to scrape a pass.

@TheFu: I'd love more monitors, but what sort of graphics card(s) do you use?

@Flail: Well, a good many of them were things like "Take a good CS course at uni", which has been completely thrown out the window as I simply cannot seem to do maths. Meaning I'm going to fail the course, meaning that effectively, no matter how well I do in other subjects, no university will take me. I'm sure other

WOOOOOOO! READY TO FRIDAY! YEAH! READY!

@Xander: There's a massive difference between learning because you want to know something, and learning so you can do something malicious. In general, school admins ignore the former, and treat the latter as something that's the kids' fault - when really, any competent admin could secure a network against a bunch of

@eien: I think he makes a good point. If you drag on a web page, you know what's going to happen - you change your viewport. If you drag on a flash app, anything could happen - even if it's just an advert - but what probably WON'T happen is the web page moving, as you would expect.

@A.Nonymous: Gotta love an admin team that's afraid of things they don't understand. Curiosity and self-learning should be rewarded, not punished.

@UnnaPheasant: It wasn't I who installed it, but my father - the option is at least ticked-by-default. Any software should work WITH you, not try and make you work with it.

@blash: When something is loading "fairly quickly" on an i7, you know it's a little too slow :P

@timgray: Viruses really haven't been that prevalent since unpatched XP, and with Vista and 7, viruses basically need a user to elevate them - exactly the sort of attack that would work on a mac too.

@DirtyDogg: Don't be silly, apple can do no wrong!

@hxp: Can you define your own trackers? What I did in fb2k was define one for start of song, and one for end of song, and work out the difference for a skip count.

@MaliciousH: USB drives simply aren't fast enough to be used as a RAM replacement, but with clever hackery, they can be used as something inbetween RAM and page file.
