@Dancing Milkcarton: The iCase business is ridiculously profitable because Apple keeps on making products that require additional protection (originally because the iPods were so easily scratchable and now because the iPhone is so easily crackable).

@oholiab: Haven't you ever noticed that Apple is more concerned about their product's shelf appear more than their actual usability?

@dragon:ONE: This is how product durability is tested. If this saddens you, you'd better hope you never see inside the labs of Consumer Reports or observe an automobile crash-test.

Nice. Now, we just need one for Canada and the US.

@TonyRockyHorror: I've always found Gizmodo to be one of the few tech-news sites to not swoon to the reality distortion field when it comes to Apple coverage ... since long before the Lost iPhone Incident.

Apple has only ever designed as far as shelf appeal.

iAd ... the ads that people will *pay* to view (as long as there's an Apple logo on them).

I rented "Casino Royale", but Sony's copy protection prevented me from playing it on my older DVD player. So, I downloaded and watched it that same evening (and then deleted the download).

@Zadillo: It wouldn't be the first time that Motorola got screwed this way. Remember the *first* "iPhone"?

Of course, this isn't too much different from hiding your primary targets among *actual* civilians. If the Japanese learned that an airplane factory was being disguised as a subdivision, *all* subdivisions would suddenly become potential targets.

In the context of the earlier post, thanks might make sense, only because it's so passive that it's not remotely possible to offend anyone with it.

I believe tomorrow is Free Slurpee Day. 7-Eleven's websites states it to be on Friday, July 11th, but states several times that it is on 7/11 and July 11th.

How long until Apple DMCAs this hack to protect the market for their sure-to-be-$30 adapter?

But, will it finally run smoother than Photoshop on Vista?

Why just Google Calendar? I want it to show me my gmail inbox.
