He’s friends with someone who only has a high school degree?!?

Comma Man, the most pedantic of superheroes.

To me it seems like it’s the people who claim the movie actually wasn’t that bad are the ones who insist on constantly re-litigating it. That’s what this article is about, after all.

This. I’m sure there have been racist shitheels flooding the greys on The Root since the first day they added comments. That hasn’t changed - what is new is even regular commenters calling out the wrongheaded, poorly researched, low quality articles.

I’m not sure how you commandeer property you already own, but ok...

Are you by chance having a stroke?

Can I still sing Suddenly Seymour in the shower?

Requesting leniency for a friend’s crimes isn’t “defending a defiler of women” - that’s the whole point that you’re either too stupid or willfully obtuse to understand. In fact, acknowledging Masterson’s guilt is implicit in the act of asking for leniency.

Not exactly the same thing, but I remember her being pretty good on SNL.

Did you get that map from Geography for Dummies by Donald Trump?  Central America is part of North America.

4 out of 5 women recommend not being raped by Danny Masterson.

Can you fly Danny?

“I also don’t want to go through life thinking our best days are behind us”

The whole appeal of the McChicken is that it’s cheap, and it appears relatively healthy because it’s small, and chicken. Pair that with a small fries for 3 bucks, and you can get someone like me* to buy two for a quick lunch when McDonalds is my easiest option, but I don’t want something too heavy and greasy.

Seriously this. Trade the crunch of lettuce for the crunch of pickles. Add the tanginess of pickles and subtract the sliminess of mayo.

Sir John Gielgud is still waiting for his call back.

He may not have been mainstream famous, but starring in a Pet Shop Boys video is A-list in my book.

That’s an interesting idea. Gandalf was benevolent, but (in the books at least) he wasn’t necessarily warm and fuzzy. He was often arrogant, demanding, even imperious.

He’s not wrong, although it’s complicated.

Yeah, he had already done some significant work rebuilding his image by that point.  But at the same time, I’m sure there were some long conversations that took place before he was offered the role of Iron Man.
