Seriously, car companies need to stop making hybrids (i.e. Toyota Prius) and BEV (Leaf/Bolt) with weird standout designs. This is why the Model 3 and this...plain thing is GOOD.

I know it’s not the Jalop party line, but it’s time to stop with the blanket crossover-phobia. I mean look at this thing, it looks more along the lines of a Subaru style slightly lifted sedan than a mini SUV on a regular car platform, and handsome to boot.

Volvo doesn’t make a car like this currently, so what is the Polestar 2 competing with exactly?

People said that when the iPhone came out..

Did he say what you said he said? Did you fairly characterize his response? I’m not sure.

Preface this by saying that I love the stuff you write and the value it brings to this blog Tom. But I have to ask - is that tone how you always interact with dealers? While you’re demonstrably much more intelligent than the average salesperson, you come across a bit, shall we say, unprofessional in the exchange.

The US doesn’t need a tiered drivers licensing system. Here in the US, if you can afford to buy a $300,000 car, you can afford to crash it ! Guv’mt doesn’t tell us what to do with our money !

By the time this comes out, the Model 3 Short range version should be out as well at around the $35000 price point.

Yeah, I wouldn’t touch a Model 3 unless it was free. Too much about it that I don’t like. Between the all glass roof, ugly dash, the trunk, and the Big Brother network, I’d be much more interested in the Nissan. (There’s a phrase that I never thought I’d say.)

Some of us would rather our cars not be a bucket of bolts mediocre exercise in build quality thrown together hastily in a parking lot. Manufactured by a company that is helmed by a CEO, who is not living underneath a volcano and plotting to take over Mars.

Falling asleep at the wheel due to sheer boredom?

How could people like that ever get car insurance?

Any Update on the Tree?

Why?  So you can hit the tree backwards?

You know who wants a manual? An enthusiast.

They didn’t drop the Hyundai name, they made a new brand with the Genesis name.

Regardless of how long Hyundai has been building vehicles, Genesis is a young brand. As Alfa has demonstrated (as a resurgence of an old brand), starting in SUVs can be a better option.

I like this car...I really do.  But, it just reminds me too much of the infniti Q30, or is it 40?  maybe 50... I have no fucking idea anymore.

Nope, that is correct. “You’ve got another think coming” is the original expression, and it makes at least some sense; it means, basically, “You’re wrong; think again.” But the K sound immediately followed by a hard C often caused the phrase to be misunderstood as “you’ve got another thing coming,” which makes much
