I can’t upvote you enough. Any of these options would have cost a fraction of that lawsuit.
This + VR = GOLD. Mark my words.
All I could think of was how much winter tires would cost on that thing. Not that it matters, I would probably run steelies anyways.
Exotic, expensive, cute Jimny, expensive, *yawn*, exotic, expensive, lol how the F* would I drive that outside today? (it’s -15*C and the streets are half-covered in ice banks), bor...
Let’s not forget that Montreal It’s Electric was put in place a few weeks before the event as a stratagem to get subsidies and dodge tender rules, but was effectively run by evenko (a private company) and all spendings had to be approved by the city.
Not surprised either, they aren’t exactly know for liking each other ;)
My friend has had several incidents in the same year for which he was not responsible (his door being ripped off while he was buckling his kid being the most stunning) and now insurance companies refuse to even give him a quote.
Agreed. I have similar thoughts when cars get destroyed in movies. I can’t help but think “hey why did they destroy such a nice car!” then realize they probably/hopefully have mules or something like that, then I realize I missed 5 minutes of the movie...
Studded tires are noisy as hell and forbidden in most interior parkings because they destroy concrete. I would only recommend studdeds in remote areas where it takes a long time for roads to be cleared and salted. In urban areas, studdeds are absolutely not needed or advisable.
Hellcat, really? It looks like a regular Challenger to the uneducated eye, and according to the only owner I know, quite ‘meh’ globally (he could be jaded, I haven’t tried it myself). The Nissan GT-R is at least unique visually.
Came here to post this but you did a better job of selling it than I could have. It’s already a classic ffs, there’s not even room for debate.
Here, join me in hoping someday we will have electric vehicles that don’t look like Jetsons cars: http://bollingermotors.com/
You make a good point but Hyundai is the worst possible example you could use. Have you seen the Ioniq in person? It’s like top management asked their team “ok guys we need a Prius/Insight equivalent” so they went ahead and copied the fugly pseudo-futuristic design that makes me despise these cars.
Not sure if you’re joking, but I was looking at Model S prices yesterday and I wouldn’t be surprised if an electric Porsche is only slightly more expensive than a fully loaded P100D. And that could really hurt Tesla as high-end models is probably where they make most of their profit (I guess?).
Neutral: Do You Think This Investment In SUVs Is Sustainable?
I’m surprised you’re the only one who mentioned a Tesla. Yes it’s above budget but the money saved on gas should justify it. I wonder if the trunk fits the criteria though.
Most French cheese is mass produced now. I laugh hard at how they act like it’s still all hand crafted.
At least in Canada there is no way you are “out in 10 minutes”. The last car I bought was my wife’s Crosstrek. We bought a charcoal grey base model, of which they had at least 5 on the lot, and we spent HOURS sitting at the dealership, filling paperwork, answering hundreds of questions, being sold a gazillion options.
At that price I would buy a G 550 4x4². Ok it’s 50k more, but in that price range who cares. At least I wouldn’t mind offroading the G.
