Understandable, a lot of it definitely does seem like Nomura throwing crazy shit at a wall and seeing what sticks. I still love it personally but the story isn't as important to me as the gameplay and characters themselves so it's a bit easier for me to enjoy.

I played it up until Dream Drop Distance, when it became clear to me that Nomura had no intention whatsoever of wrapping up anything in any meaningful way and would keep throwing whatever half-formed idea came into his head at it until someone at Disney told him, “Okay, that’s enough.”

That isn’t the problem here. The problem is some asshole players think that there should ONLY be sexy female characters and nothing else.
