Amen brother. VR6’s are along the same lines. every day for the last 10 years I’d put the key in and wonder, “is today my lucky day?” luckily it always was.

BUT, you get a new plastic cover! You know, so it can break 6 months later.

i can attest 1st hand to this. i must have “fixed” a hundred of these. with 2 part epoxy ;)

Don’t forget about e46’s. My uncle owned the car before me and I’m pretty sure i damn near replaced everything, now i own it and its time for round 2. water pump is currently leaking...again.
