Because then you get draw after draw, so instead you’ve just wasted way more time instead of solving the problem.

Disclaimer: just a casual Overwatch player.

Cowardly actions are often a smart way to do things, but that doesn’t make them less cowardly. If you’re gonna fight someone, fight fair. Otherwise, you ain’t got shit to brag about, imo. It’s just a bad look.

This is one of the most insanely petty stories I’ve ever read about a video game grudge. Also, tricking someone into a one-sided fight is pretty cowardly.

Gita, thank you for this--and particularly for taking the time to collect opinions from the broader fanbase.

I personally find what Jontron had to say during the “debate” (if such it can be called with a straight face) absolutely repugnant, on both a (personal) moral level, and as someone who is reasonably well-versed

There’s a lot to like. Duels are some of my favorite multiplayer I’ve ever done. The larger modes are a bit clumsy but the combat is really great. It’s the systems surrounding that experience which bring it down a few notches in my book.

Is this game any good? It looked like a hack fest until someone falls off a cliff.

They have the balls becasue there’s a 100% guarantee that they’ve already made their moneys worth on the costs to make the emote, and then some. People are willing to pay stupid money for stupid shit. As long as they make more money than they paid to make the content, they could give a shit about the complainers.

See, you’re missing the point here. It’s that Ubi has the balls to release drastically overpriced cosmetic stuff hoping people will buy steel without addressing the real problems the game has, e.g. matchmaking, disconnects, revenge mechanic.

That’s why people are pissed. It should be something you can unlock in a couple dozen matches for fun. Instead it takes over 400 matches or $5. People paid $60 for a game and they got a F2P experience.

but what about when destiny 2 gets officially announced??? if you write the article, chances are the game will get cancelled or delayed.

Jason The Reaper, you are.

I’ve got a news for you. Read it carefully and believe in it really really hard!

I can’t wait until I break the news that someone has died...

So you can’t watch the deleted scenes because they were deleted.....

Why figure that out after you film the movie?

So what have we learned, kids? Yes, that’s right. Don’t market your movie so far in advance. Some of this is going to be inevitable, but if they’d simply waited for the big marketing push to 2-3 months out, you wouldn’t have this problem. See also: Suicide Squad.

Translation: We don’t want the fans to see that we maybe left a better movie on the cutting room floor.

These scenes are to be contained in the Disney Vault never to see the light of day.

No doubt there are alternate versions of scenes due to the much talked about reshoots, but it could also be that some of the more famous shots, eg, Jinn facing down the TIE fighter were not actually fleshed out alternate scenes at all, but special shots created specifically for the trailer. And since that practice is
