I think young people as a whole are way more tolerant and caring than previous generations, but there are a lot of young people and plenty of them are morons.

It’s funny how homophobia seems to be much easier to stamp out than racism. I guess it’s in large part because white people often have a family member who comes out as LGBT+, and we all know conservatives only start caring about other people when it might affect them or someone close to them.

Young people are also carrying out the proud tradition of knowing very little in general, yet being absolutely certain they are right.

I’ve been hearing a lot of “wait until the young ‘uns grow up and start voting” recently. Young people are the ones who love trolling/memeing/shitposting for Trump/the alt-right and think the whole thing is fucking hilarious without caring about the consequences.
