Or at least an apple crate to stand on.

I have a Ta-Nehisi coat right next to my Nehru jacket.

Anyone else feel this first game of the Teachers Tournament had Teen Tournament levels of difficulty?

Another potential objection in the first-round Chemistry category where the clue had something to do with man-made elements named after scientists, and the acceptable answers were Einsteinium and Fermium.

The long-running serial murder mystery seemed like a poor excuse to give Bash something to do, and the revelation of Christophe as the serial murderer and threat to Catherine seemed like an unwelcome, problematic twist which, hopefully, with the show's habit of introducing and resolving threats often in the same

Apparently the play’s the thing wherein the Thirteen Knights catch, if not the conscience, then at least the continuing annoyance, of the former queen.

Didn't Meyers' jokes about Trump cause him to leave the dinner early?

The other show I saw that used the Natural History Museum was Ripper Street, I think, which takes place in the same period as Penny Dreadful, leading me to wonder if the interior has been unchanged since Victorian times.

The Ripper fake out was nice, and may not necessarily be a fake out as the Whitechapel murders ascribed to the Ripper happened in 1888, five years before Tennyson's death, and some think the Ripper may have continued murdering into 1891.

I give credit to the reviewer for pulling as much as she does from this show, which isn't easy considering how poorly written and motivated many of the characters are, which she freely acknowledges.

We've seen a few recently, including Captain Ray Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Leonard from Hap and Leonard, Jamal Lyons from Empire, and Titus Andromedon from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Not as a compound of "Doug" and "ray", but rather "doogray", rhyming with "food-tray".

Thank to Yvette Nicole Brown I discovered I had been pronouncing "Dougray" wrong this entire time.

Best line of the night: "Only three episodes left this season."

Since these movies are all about watching famous people do inoffensive (unless one counts doing hack work in a hack film offensive) things, it makes sense most of the budget (I assume) would be put toward getting those famous people.
