You forgot overpriced.
same. at least it’s socially acceptable to curse your head off at a car after it’s hit you.
Been hit by car, can confirm that the future is worse.
Out of curiosity what is the current toy?
Everyone who hates on one of these but doesn’t hate on the Miata baffles me. They have the same exact purpose, with different packaging (one a 2-seat roadster, the other a 2+2 in a pinch, with a bit more cargo space, folding rear seats and a roof). Especially when lots of commenters are very likely driving a…
how is nobody talking about that last line? wrx power? what?!?
Yep unfortunately everyone is going to that stupid what i call the “Tablet Dash”. Which was confusing to use at the auto show. I mean they designed the interior beautifully and then some one from the infotainment department slaps a Ipad and mouse on it and ruins the car.
I will never, EVER understand why car manufacturers use that stupid “let’s glue a tablet on top of the dash” thing, unless it actually retracts into the dash like in the Audi A3. It just looks so... amateurish.
yeah I guess if you like immovable landscape mounted tablets that instead of being touch enabled are controlled through a touch pad dial thingy that has been criticized when similarly implemented by other makers in their cars
I don’t know who is going to buy those when you can have an M6.
Eh, there is a background check but it’s super basic and misses a lot of things. No drug testing or anything else though. You’re spot-on though, it is a low-qualification job.
I agree. It was never intended to be a full time job nor does it need to be. If someone wants to scrap by on uber alone that’s their choice but don’t expect me to feel bad.
I feel like a lot of these full-time drivers are missing the point of Uber. It was originally conceived as a way to make some extra cash on top of a regular job, not to replace a full-time job entirely. Also, buying/leasing a new car just to drive for Uber isn’t exactly a wise choice. What I tell people is to find out…
I’ve decided I must not be a good drug-abuse candidate. Opiates made me so nauseous I never want to take them again, let alone a desire to abuse them. Muscle relaxers did basically nothing to me, as far I can tell. And I’ve never experienced this high associated with spicy foods.
Seriously, you expected something else??? They are just names being slapped on to vehicles built to hit an established market segment, nothing more.
The 155hp Miata is faster than the 205hp BRZ from 0-60mph. The Miata has a torquey engine; you have to dump the clutch at 5000rpm to quickly launch a BRZ.
And yet it’s faster. Not by much, but yeah...
