Is it "squaring the circle"? Just Googled "impossible problem phrase" and it's the first hit. I tried several variations and that keeps coming to the surface. I've never heard that phrase before, but as an engineer I don't tend to deal with problems typically considered impossible.

An food item that can't be eaten in a particular way is not automatically terrible and yet you provide no other evidence for calling a Chipotle burrito terrible. How about this - Chipotle burritos are wonderful because they enable consumer choice, whereas an iPhone does not. ;)
