Check out Machinarium - another game that tells a beautiful, emotional story without a single word, except quite a bit longer and a bit more gameplay involved :)

It is for exactly this reason that I have never made it more than an hour into any Western RPG or MMO. I like my RPG's eastern; if I want to have an open world where I can do whatever I'd like I'd go outside.

You know what I'm pissed about? The mother couldn't even fake playing bass. At all. They show her playing for, what, five seconds? And you can very actively hear notes that she is very actively not playing.

Here's the thing. As several people have pointed out so far, lyrics can have multiple interpretations. Regardless of the intent of the artist, the power of art is in that it can mean different things to different people.
