I think it depends on the situation. In the snow I wouldn’t do it, but at a free and clear intersection or off-ramp, I would just be lazy and coast/brake.

I have had a few former coworkers who retired relatively early (in their late 50s/early 60s) and spent a few weeks training to drive a big rig. They’d take their spouses on the delivery trips and told me it was like a paid vacation for them to see places they’ve never been before.
