It just means rich people will be able to enter, and us poors will not. And the poors already in NYC will be stuck because if they left, they can’t afford to get back in. It’s a secret scheme to get rid of us poors so the rich can have Manhattan all to themselves without the pesky poors.

I rode in business class section of Chinese’s bullet train a few years ago (which for some odd reason is a higher priced section than their first class), and through a clear glass window you can see the engineer driving the train at hundreds of miles per hour. You can totally see that the guy was fully focused on the

Sounds more like how the Chinese Communist Party would run a company. I guess the mandarin (orange) doesn’t fall far from the tree?

I hate the 993 steering wheel. 987/997 steering wheels are light years better.

You’re a Jalop and you didn’t have a dash cam to capture all this? Sheesh!

My GTI rocks, except when the sunroof rattles then it just creaks.

Chinese version of elite =/= our version of elite. Your ignorance is apparently clouding your logic, and if you need me to explain to you why they’re different, you need to go read. I suggest The Economist and The Diplomat to start, read for a few years, then we can talk.

I think the emphasis you had on the impossibly diverse group we call Asians is an excellent point. Even East Asians (Chinese/Korean/Japanese) are vastly different from SE Asians (Vietnamese, Laotian, Filipino, etc.), let alone Far East vs. Near East or those from the Indian subcontinent.

You know what we have in common with the Chinese? The same kind of sick fervor that surrounded a Chinese student’s graduating speech. Portions of our population aren’t so different from the Chinese after all, right? If you are what you eat, then these people must be eating a whole lot of Panda Express and Chinese

No I’m not salty, just stating a fact about wealthy Chinese students coming to our shores in steadily larger numbers, with many of them committing crimes. And I do welcome these $$$ spending Chinese, they bring jobs and helps our economy. The problem that I have, is how do we keep the best and brightest with the

Sounds like a typical spoiled Chinese kid, the likes of which you can see plenty of at USC, UCLA, UC Irvine, and pretty much across universities in the US.

I don’t think State Routes & Interstates are the city’s problem (from a financial point of view).

You do know we export a shitload of chicken parts (that we normally refuse to eat) at a profit to China right?

I remember how accomplished I felt when I built my first PC: 386DX-25, Trident VGA, Conner 20MB HDD, combo 5.25/3.5 floppy drive.

I remember the ads on TV: Hyundai, only $4999 for a BRAND NEW CAR! Rear view mirror optional.

I see what you did there, ha!

I believe that’s taken already.

Well it’s a good thing the Chinese didn’t name any of their models G8....

Because those cars don’t sell well with the demography Acura wants to appeal to. You’re an outlier and therefore your opinion doesn’t count.

I have a ‘16 GTI, and while I love that car and how it drives, it’ll be the last VW I will ever buy. The rattle is ridiculous, and the dealership finally gave up after 4 tries so now I live with the car cackling like an old sofa whenever I go over uneven roads.
