You do know we export a shitload of chicken parts (that we normally refuse to eat) at a profit to China right?

I remember how accomplished I felt when I built my first PC: 386DX-25, Trident VGA, Conner 20MB HDD, combo 5.25/3.5 floppy drive.

I remember the ads on TV: Hyundai, only $4999 for a BRAND NEW CAR! Rear view mirror optional.

I see what you did there, ha!

I believe that’s taken already.

Well it’s a good thing the Chinese didn’t name any of their models G8....

Because those cars don’t sell well with the demography Acura wants to appeal to. You’re an outlier and therefore your opinion doesn’t count.

I have a ‘16 GTI, and while I love that car and how it drives, it’ll be the last VW I will ever buy. The rattle is ridiculous, and the dealership finally gave up after 4 tries so now I live with the car cackling like an old sofa whenever I go over uneven roads.

Leahy was the chief commercial officer, I think, for the A380. I remember seeing him in all kinds of promo videos about how wonderful the A380 was and cost benefits of the A380 vs. 747-400. It’s a wonderful plane, and humongous one when you see it up close, truly a feat of modern human engineering. I hope the A380

Can anyone tell if some of the pics were taken in Chicago? It looks like portions of Wacker Drive.

3rd Gear: I’m willing to bet the decision by the Japanese early on to not focus on battery EVs came down to only a handful of people and their culture of Yes-Men that surrounds not only government officials, but also their corporate hierarchy.

So you, plus 3 of your family members (I’m going to assume your dad, your mom, and your sister) all logged in and starred this comment?

I had a Spark EV, along with a Gen 1 Volt. The round trip commute for me is right around the edge of Spark’s limits (80 miles). There’s a gas station near my work that has DCFC, and I’ve used that several times in the winter to “top off” for a comfy warm ride home. I don’t think charging is an issue for most EV

Asshole.

Also don’t forget showing up to the Ride in Made in China/Vietnam camouflage clothing.

True story (though it was an email not an actual piece of mail):

Thanks! Didn’t know that!

Are you saying the Marines are a few decades behind in technology know-how?

FrontPage 95 had way better design templates.

Have you seen how cheap EV’s can get after only a few years?
