Well, I dialed BBS on my 2400 baud modem to download pictures, so there’s that.

Uh no. Go read up on Voltec’s tranny setup.
You must mean the 2nd gen Volt? I drove a 1st gen Volt for 3 years and it was terrible (cloth seats).
Websites didn’t exist in 1989, I was there.
I’ve had tinnitus for many years, and while it’s mainly a constant ringing, there are times when the ringing sound explodes and I would almost keel over in a flash of pain. I didn’t know about the whole pressuring my skull thing and tried it in the office (my coworkers looked at me as if I were mad), and it did help…
My 1st Gen Volt was leased because I was concerned about the longevity of the car, and because leasing made more sense at the time. My Spark EV was bought and if I didn’t end up with a commute that couldn’t cover the Spark’s range, I would’ve kept it. My next EV will be purchased.
My 1st gen Volt had issues too, where the display and the stupid touch controls stopped working and froze, or the charging port won’t pop open.
Planned obsolescence at its finest.
First gear: I run 87 on my bone stock ‘16 GTI, and I’m very happy with it (mostly highway commute). I don’t see any need for 93 on the car. If you have a tune though, 91/93 is almost always required.

Yes!
Why do you think USC is called University of Spoiled Chinese?
The French are known for their “business acumen”. Just look at Thomson SA: they sold off their medical imaging division to GE and got GE’s consumer electronics and RCA, but declined to get NBC/Universal when it was cheap. They then decided they want to be an end to end provider of content with Technicolor -> Grass…
Orange juice, don’t forget orange juice!
I crack open my sunroof and crank the heat up, which is even better.
Range anxiety is like F E A R: Fictional Events Assumed Real, and for those of us who actually owned one or more early EV/PEHV, range was a consideration but never an anxiety.
Can’t believe it took this long for someone to realize. I guess nobody cares whom they descended from anymore.
This technology can’t come fast enough, especially for people with disease caused by genetic mutation. Thank you for posting this, gives families of those suffering a ray of hope.
Is there any way for these local governments and HUD to build capsule like housing so that these people actually have a place to stay temporarily? Hire some of these homeless folks to do the cleaning, modularize the capsules so they can be grouped for families and provide some privacy. Restroom facilities would be…
