I don’t get how this halo, with huge gaping holes, could protect anyone from anything...

And more East Asians in major cities, of whom are solely responsible for jacking up real-estate prices, am I right?

How soon before we can call ourselves Inners and Belters?

No no, you’re not reading the story: the place where FB HQ is located used to be a fairly rundown dump with cheap rent homes and lots of Latinos. I know because my sister bought a brand new tiny house there years ago for (at the time) an ungodly amount of money. I’ve been back to that neighborhood many times, and I

My sister lives literally across the street from FB HQ, and just as I thought she paid way too much for her tiny little house there way back when, it’s now even more terribly priced thanks to FB. Good for my sister, but holy crap once I move out of CA I realized I could never move back.

OK seriously, have you never watched TV shows like NCIS or Law and Order? Let’s say a prosecutor is investigating a murder, but found evidence/leads that indicates possible additional crimes like racketeering, false imprisonment, etc., wouldn’t the prosecutor WANT to branch out/broaden the investigation to ensure ALL

You can now get a lightly used one for about 27K, which is I think an OK price.

Can’t wait for deep throat from deep state disclose some deep secrets.

That line of reasoning means that you know the logical opposed of cold is not cold and may have taken the LSAT.

OK, his granddaughter watched a few episodes of Ni-hao, Kai-Lan on Nickelodeon and now she’s fluent? I watched a bunch of Dora The Explorer so now I’m fluent in Spanish. Smart genes, I tell you.

Indeed. I recall the Chinese didn’t like it when we laughed at Jiang Zeming for picking his nose, or played with “Hu/Who?”.

Yes it’s weird how people don’t seem to grasp that fact. But then not everyone reads The Economist (everyone should).

The guy must have been a former Sprint employee.

I have this, and it’s annoying as hell even though I’ve learned to live with it for the past few years. I would love to get rid of this and thanks for posting the article!

I would never have thought I’d witness both the rise of our country becoming the sole superpower on this planet and the fall into Idiocracy and general laughingstock of the world within my lifetime. Oh well...

I’ve only dealt with 4 Chevy dealers, but they all had L2 charging - but slow. None offered L3 (DCFC) for the Spark EV/Bolt DCFC. While I don’t have experience with Tesla’s supercharging network, it’s pretty incredible to see L3 charging done.

It’s actually not. I’ve owned both the Gen 1 Volt and Spark EV, both were fine as Point A to Point B transports but drove like crap. The Bolt is slightly better in the handling department but looks like an econobox with an interior that feels cheap. On purely looks I would rather buy the Gen 2 Volt over the Bolt, but

This is real, right? You’re not pulling my strings?

Came here just for that comment.
