I'm about 100 hours in now, and there is no end in sight. Nowhere near.

@votey: Oh, I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions - it is just that this point seems a significant unresearched one, for working out the relative importance of HDTV penetration to the console market.

I just hate these misleading marketing gobblegook things.

@laur130001: And that really is the key point. Whatever the marketing people say about increasing HD penetration into households, it means nothing for the gaming market unless they are hooked up to consoles.

@mogutan1977: That's why I try to steer clear of 'are they art' and onto 'can they be art'.

Endless Ocean 2 - magnificent stuff.

Interesting questions, shallow answers.

This is where you really need Natal - it'll be mandatory so that it can spot that that really short guy isn't the one with the credit card.

Got the game this morning (in UK), and can confirm general awesomeness. Spectacular looking throughout.

@[kotaku.com] I start up the Wii to play games on it. Happens to be a convenient time to weigh myself as well.Thing about weighing, it's best done regularly so you hook it into something you do most every day. Like a bath, or playing a Wii.

Right idea, Bash - maybe the wrong product to illustrate it with. Thing about the balance board is that it has a use outside gaming, namely, for weighing yourself - so in this house it isn't the balance board that went in the closet, it is the bathroom scales that went to the charity shop. Net increase in stuff = zero.
