Ah, this is another one of those articles where 'dominate' means 'come second or third depending on what you are counting'. It is a strange use of the word that I hadn't come across before 2006.

Microsoft's stated target market is the new core - the people for whom the controller is a barrier. But it looks like it will be priced for the traditional technology early adopter - emphatically not the same people.
@fernandosolano: That's a more balanced approach to the question than I've seen on a lot of posts (and it's clear that you're not hating the Wii for the sake of it - far from it).
@Archaotic: Given what happened in the GAF thread I think it was a reasonable response - picking through 12 pages of identical trolling is enough to deter even the most thick-skinned sane commenter.
@GoonerVance: I disagree completely with the 'hardcore/casual' breakdown, for the simple reason that most Wiis are played by multiple people with different tastes. They are family machines. And in each family there is a mix of different people.
@pressstart: um, the point being that only people with internet access will vote - and only those with enough interest access to seek it out in the first place.
Way to get a result Capcom - put the poll on the internet so only people with decent internet access can respond.
@ating: I think the point here is that, although he might not, other members of the class might (if, say, thay hadn't read the FAQ or had already paid over the $150).
Several commenters here seem to think that this console is in-warranty and so that Sony should fix it on those grounds.
It's good to see the vast majority of commenters understanding and supporting this (and not hating it even if it is not for them). A huge turnround from when the news first came out.
I'm not convinced that this is good news.
