Stephen King really thought that through in THE STAND. Before they used the power, the survivors went through the houses in that small town, unplugging stuff so they wouldn't blow out the grid once it was turned back on. Of course, he got kinda lazy with that whole Hand of God thing. ;)

Not gonna lie, this is pretty brilliant marketing. And only showing the aggressive front end is another good move by the marketing folks.
