I agree. I prefer the color of the Ikea bulbs as well. Great price too.

Many companies that have a huge web and mobile presence are very unsophisticated when it comes to using analytics. To contribute my 2 cents to your analytics, for another measure of engagement consider also using unique visitor traffic to related articles from links within a given article.

Assuming Gawker uses analytics to improve the user experience, when determining a positive or negative user experience what emphasis do you place on the volume of discussion versus the total unique visitors for a given article? I realize these are not the only measures, but I'm very curious how these KPIs are used to

The auction/salvage items in the background seem to indicate the current owners picked it up somewhere thinking they could turn it fast for a profit. There's an old listing for this car which contains a phone number associated with a company that restores Espresso machines in Seattle, WA. It's easy to envision a

15 year old me yells "Awesome!" and my best friend takes my photo next to the car. 39 year old me covers my 6 year old daughter's ears thinking "Dude, really? Can't you wait until cars & coffee or something?"

I was getting 38 mpg in my 97 Passat TDI right up to when I traded it in back in Feb 2011 (with a Kerma chip no less). And trust me, my driving style does not have fuel efficiency in mind.
