Thank you for the sobering perspective. It summed up my feelings, too, though I’m more cynical I suppose. It seems progressives love to march and “unite” and rebel against a threat more than they like to *stop* an enemy from becoming a threat. It makes them feel good, like they have the “moral high ground.”
