Interesting... this patent was filed on 7/6/14 and issued 4/19/16. NMS was first announced at E3 2014 6/10/14 which pre-dates the filing date. I wonder if NMS gets a pass on this one since they can show prior work.

I just read this same news story sourced from the AP and let me say - the statements made about the facts of this case couldn’t be more different.
