I’ve been a Geordie since the late 90's and it’s impossible for me to explain to my students why I’d be willing to get relegated if it prompted Ashley to sell the team. They don't seem to comprehend our potential and the disaster that is Mike Ashley and I don't know of anything else in sport that I can compare it to.
As a Geordie it was a blessing to see him forcing passes through the defenders instead of out to the wingers. I hope this works out well because we need something to save us from relegation
