Uber just jacked up its percentage fee to 25 percent for me and every other UBER driver I know in The Bay Area. So, I’m only UBERing short distances. Otherwise, between the fee, the cost of gas, the cost of maintenance, and the additional $300 I pay in insurance, I’d be UBERing at a loss.
