The fact that he had a computer and it was the only computer Elliot could use. The fact that the other prisoners (men on the basketball court) had respect for him. Other things as well. He could've been a warden for all I know, but something involved with the prison system.

"Awww, hell no!" was the best part of the entire series though.

I was joking, but you have to admit, if people complain about Walking Dead why let this slide? I was just pointing out the the difference of reactions.

No, Ray was some kind of prison guard/maybe rehabilitative worker of some sort within the prison system, if that's what you're asking.

Agree, but still, why play so tough up until the last moment when you know what he's going to do? He could've easily told the other guard to stay outside while letting Elliot do his thing. I get it's a show and you need drama, but still it was pretty weird.

You mean Craig Robinson and Joey Badass aren't black, I know Craig's standup and Joey's music, I'm pretty sure they do.

I was joking, but it totally reared into some Walking Dead territory this season.

Liked almost everything about this episode except Ray letting Elliot alert the authorities on him and those silly slashing and blood squirting sound effects when the neo nazis are taken out.

History.

It hates everyone, but its hate makes it tasty.

So why doesn't Krieger just make Ray a new arm

No, but they showed his bedside and nightstand.
That's what made me realize he's no longer on the show.

Now that I think about it, I could see Gordon staying on. He would make a good partner for Lucas like you said. He's not a half bad character when he's not wallowing or impotently jealous.

I'm actually annoyed with that whole family, or at least everyone except the son who apparently aged up too quickly or something. If Carrie died I could see Gordon taking the kids and moving away which would make me happy. But I think the writers might think the Lucas/Deva dynamic might be the heart of the show or

I get that, I was being kind of snarky, but I think Emmett got short changed story wise.

Gordon, knew it in the diner scene this episode.

Like Drop Message said, plus she's an angsty kid.
That said, I find her annoying, boring, a filler and usually a hindrance.

Damn, even the new ex-white supremacist is getting more of a story than Emmett did until his death plot.
