I was right there watching this, it was awesome, they decided last minute to do some final filming of it from a helicopter and they took the Vulcan out over the sea to do it - I was right on the beach walking the dogs at the time, so I got my own personal airshow - it’s not like they were over populated area’s doing…
You would prep and repaint afterwards, there’s no way you’re welding to bodywork without damaging the paint.
