As someone who is shopping for a Sienna, I can confirm this is true. What’s interesting is it’s all the top-level Sienna trims that are selling before they reach the dealers. There are low and mid-level trims available.

This car just sold for $14k on Bring-a-Trailer
As a past owner of 2 Sterlings, including a 1988 that looked just like this one, and a Sterling fan site from back in the Geocities days, this is awfully tempting. Sterlings seem to all but vanished from the earth and finding one with 26k miles is amazing. If this was a ‘91 5-speed hatchback, I’d be selling another…
Thanks for the insight. This is my favorite M5 (just edging out the E34) and I’ve always dreamt of owning one of these since they came out but with no garage and a wife who thinks I have too many cars already, I’m not sure it will happen before the values skyrocket.
Thing is the LC is purchased by people who want to fly under-the-radar. The Lexus LX is too blingy for that demographic.
On a positive note, TIL that Saab touring cars existed.
They wouldn’t have needed the Lambos if they did everything in regular speed instead of slo-mo.
Not only that, since it’s a business expense, he can take deductions on it. Plus, his old truck was 17 years old. It’s not like he’s constantly rolling over his loans.
Never understood why some early-NSX owners converted from the pop-ups to the later fixed headlamps.
Sorry, don’t have a suggestion on the Blutooth adapter, but I wanted to point out that since the Sony WH1000XM3s have been out for awhile, they are often found for under $300. I think I paid around $250-275 for my new pair last year, and I’ve seen refurbs in the $200-225 range.

There is also a plug-and-play box from Navtool which lets you put Carplay and Android Auto up on the stock screen. It isn’t perfect, but neither is that Tesla-style screen. Anyway, the point is there are options to updating the old infotainment.
I owned a 2008.5 MS3 up until around 80k miles and I agree it was very reliable. I had a few more issues than petekill - besides routine maintenance and tires, I also had to replace the rear shocks, front & rear swaybar bushings, and a clutch master cylinder. But this was pretty minimal and worth it for the fun. It…
Depreciation on the wagons is already so much less than the coupes and sedans. Despite having the same price when new, the sedans and coupes on Carmax are listed for up to $15k less with less miles and more options (though they are all automatics).
A few interesting this I noticed...
Interesting idea, but was Goodyear ok with him keeping the Michelin tires?
Sorry to be a stickler but the C in CTS came from Catera, as the CTS was the replacement for the Catera. (STS was the replacement for the Seville, and DTS was the replacement for the Deville).
I always pictured the future as most regular commuter cars and family cars going electric, with a few rare enthusiast cars remaining internal combustion with a manual. The Miata was what I pictured staying.
For the longest time I was missing only my 10mm 3/8 socket. Then, this past spring I was doing some brake work on my GX470. I finished up one side, gathered my tools together and turned the car around to do the other side (I have a narrow parking area). Then, when the time came when it was needed, I could no longer…
I don’t think this really is an issue of automakers wanting more relaxed fuel economy and more that automakers don’t want individual states to set fuel economy standards.
