This was my wedding car a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be a P1800ES, which would have meant my meeting (one of) my dream cars, but it broke down on the morning of my wedding, so the owner pressed one of his other classics into action at the last minute. I have never been in anything that bounced quite so much,

Yup, I feel those same sentiments. I do like the copper, just not with red. It’s one of the few times a more muted colour would be nicer, so as to accentuate the details. I do not like the interior. At all.

Met him last year in Dublin. Nice bloke!

Well first the cops denied being called, and then the recording was released to the media, so they had to come up with a story as to why they were called, and why it was nothing.

Like Trump, Johnson is not being elected by the people, but by the Conservative Party, since Teresa May stepped down. Were it to go to an election, it’s difficult to say who would get elected right now in the UK, because both sides are excelling at incompetence.

It’s been a long day at work and I’ve come down with a dose of exhaustion-borne dyslexia, because all I can picture is the Lotus Vajine.

Just what I came for.

This has brought me to tears.

The make-up of the top class at Le Mans is a cyclical thing. We’ve had something like this before in the old GT1 class. Prototypes came before it, and prototypes came after it. Before that, there were homologation rules, too. With P2 remaining, and constantly evolving, it’s conceivable that we’ll see a prototype class

In the past few years, especially in P1, it’s been more about fuel economy and avoiding accidents. Audi had those aspects licked (apart from 2011, which they still won, after two cars going out in big accidents). Porsche, too, had managed a pretty decent return in the few years they contested. It was about reliability

That poor Jordan 191 :(

They were knocking at the door the whole time. Reliability was their enemy so often. They can probably win the 24 Hours now running their engine at 3/4, such is the gap to the non-hybrid P1 cars. I’m sorry to say, the race would become a lot more interesting if the Toyotas ended up dropping out early.

The laptop was left though. So that doesn’t quite jive for me.

I’m not familiar enough with the Oldsmobile 88 because we never got ‘em in Europe

That model Prelude did have an attractive rear. It took me a long time to warm to the rest of the car. It’s a shame there aren’t more of them surviving to look at.

French fries were invented in Belgium.

I want a Volvo 840 from the year of my birth.

Why?

Oh I think they go plenty quick enough. Put it this way: I know I and the vast majority of regular Jalopnik readers would run out of talent in one of those cars fairly quick-smart.
