1) this isn’t the Uk

We use the metric system, but this is reported in a UK tabloid, and the older generation will still use imperial. We were in a strange situation years ago where road distances were measured in km but speed limits in mph. The EU basically enforced a change of signage so as to make everything consistent.

Yeah, not in Ireland. Everything is more expensive here. A lot more.

Irish roads suck, and cleaning your car can feel like a waste of time.

Washing your car in this country is pointless.

In Ireland, I could believe that.

I knew before I clicked on this story that this was going to be a guy from Ireland. I actually empathise with him, though. To a point. I’ve done damage to my car on speed bumps. Some in Dublin are over six inches high (in an area with a problem with joyriders). I bust my oil sump. Some, you can’t even see as the paint

Ugh...

I weirdly like it. The callbacks to older Citroëns are fleeting at best, but it’s certainly different enough. Not crazy about the interior, but I like what it’s doing on the outside. With the evolution electric power, and chassis purpose-built with electric power in mind, the shape we’ve come to recognise as a car

I love a good stripe. I do some work as a graphic designer, so the more graphic a stripe, for me, the better. But the 60s and 70s were the high water mark for automotive striping for a reason. Many modern cars have surfaces with too many concaves and convexes and curves and lines and creases, and it doesn’t lend

Try driving it around Ireland.

My opinion on the matter is unbiased, but I agree. Montreal is always one of my season highlights. Especially if there’s a bit of weather.

I’m a complete newbie with a six-string, but started playing bass 20 years ago (with a long intervening period of doing nothing), so I’m not sure whether the guitar in your pic is good, bad, or indifferent. It looks good, though!

I think I’m pretty stupidawesome. That’s what my mother keeps telling me.

I prefer a Jim Dunlop wah, but that’s only because my surname is Dunlop. Danelectro do make some cool looking gear. Just... not their guitars.

Surprising result. It’s not like Barcelona to throw up a boring race.

Can vouch. I’ve got a double mattress (almost) flat in the back of my ‘06 V70 for transport purposes. Was very tempted to try it out some time, but I live in Ireland, and everywhere is close enough to home for it not to be necessary.

I can’t see how it will succeed. Dyson, to be successful, has to have something different about all his products. He’s bringing nothing to the table with an electric car, and he’s got up a lot of people’s noses by saying Brexit would be good for British jobs, and then moving his manufacturing operation to Singapore to

I lost interest when Dyson turned out to be another gammon, Brexit-loving hypocrite intent on moving his business away from those he’s saying Brexit will benefit. He’s somehow managed to talk out both sides of his mouth while coming across as a discount, less articulate Jony Ive when it comes to evangelising his own

More fuel efficient than a Tesla?

Oh the Matrix. It did get a facelift which decreased the ugly some. But it doesn’t have any redeeming features, for me, the way, say, a Fiat Multipla does.
