The only thing I that sticks out to me in this article, which otherwise is a fun stroll down memory lane, is right at the end:
I think there is a better chance of not whitewashing it with Waititi at the helm, honestly.

That Fred Ward one is a halfway decent B-movie but The Crow: City of Angels has some bangers on that soundtrack.
You could easily write a whole column on the second bar scene in The Rookie. And you should!

Musical theater actors can sell the absurdity of a superhero with the same ability they can believably break out into song.

Saw a 6:45 screening of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes on Friday. Really blew the first one away. Not that that's saying much.
