In Oregon, all you need to register a car is insurance and an emissions test in larger counties, and a VIN inspection if coming from a different state. Nothing else. Some of the stuff you see driving here is terrifying.

Except that first you'd have to use the screen to go into a submenu of a submenu to disable the turn signals. 

You can pick up a Z3 with similar miles for <7k all day long. Maybe not an M but who cares? The aftermarket wood trim looks cheesy and the driver’s seat is stretched all to hell, certainly more than 83k miles would suggest. On top of the worn out tires and the top on its last legs, this is a crack pipe.

I wish there was video of the entire incident, the driver didn’t appear to move until his vehicle was being attacked and possibly disabled. Idk but maybe he had his family with him. Raphael, brother. Write about cars. The legal system just isn't your strong suit. They've been released without charges PENDING INVESTIGATION. Pretty important distinction there. Until decision is made not to charge them, saying they're "getting away with it" is premature and misleading.
