Kid's shows like In The Night Garden, Teletubbies and Yo Gabba Gabba still use puppets/costumed actors, and they're massively successful. So puppetry certainly hasn't died out entirely.

Hoping for a mini-game where you have to phone up an elderly actor and abuse him... come to think of it get Russell Brand in as well, he dresses like a character from Fable already.
