I really prefer that the fanservice exist as it makes the game more desirable to me personally, but I can at least agree the main character looks dreadfully uninteresting.
I have to wonder if the free game at the end is basically just an easy way to solve the “their membership is up and they didn’t ever bring back their last game..” problem. I’m not knocking it for that, it’s a pretty good solution.
Of course, but it doesn’t change that if you disagree or this affects you negatively then you should absolutely express that opinion (vocally/respectfully) rather than just shrugging it off. Just because it doesn’t violate a constitutional right doesn’t mean you have to like it or be quiet about it.

The key word is wagering. You buy loot boxes to receive goods, even if chance is involved. When you wager you could lose money, get nothing, win money, etc. And the ‘simulated wagering’ isn’t referring to loot boxes. It’s referring to games with gambling in them, something like Dead or Alive Xtreme’s casino.
