We’re speculating about how well a rumored console’s rumored specs will run a game with unknown system requirements, based on the assumption that said game will be CPU bottle-necked.

Games are genuinely cheap as modern entertainment goes. It’s all the other shit sucking up disposable income that’s making them feel expensive.”

Ha ha, NO, it’s the fact that incomes haven’t kept up with inflation that’s making them feel expensive. Games are not cheap compared to how much people make. A lot of people

Of course. Around the world, people think hockey is the national sport in Canada. But in fact, Quebec-bashing is the most popular.

long-term success and profitability”

The point isn’t about exclusives exactly and more about MS buying a big multiplat publisher and making them MS exclusive. The closest equivalent would be if Sony decided to take Destiny off of other platforms.

I would’ve preferred Eren being crazy over this. And since he wasn’t crazy

I thoroughly enjoyed the manga, ending included, so these little changes were a welcome surprise. Overall, I don’t feel they changed much, most people that didn’t like the ending probably won’t be convinced otherwise by these changes, a lot of people’s problems went well beyond Armin and Eren’s final conversation, but

Goombas, being mushrooms, can probably fight off whatever Mario has on him.

Nawww, that’s precious time to brainstorm and get the creative juices going again.

It doesn’t seem like much, but a lot of games struggle to pull that much off to this day.”

So true. FF7 has oddly been the game that a large crowd loves to hate on because of its popularity, reducing everything to the most surface level understanding while claiming its shallowness. A game full of broken heroes, some

I don’t know what game you played but you sure as hell aren’t describing Cyberpunk 2077.

I liked the ending, if fit with the themes of the rest of the series, not sure why some people hated it so much. That said, I don’t think adding onto it will help anything, it was fine as-is, trying to go beyond it or extend it could ruin things, or worse, set up an unnecessary sequel series.

Time will tell whether the latter half of Frieren’s first season will maintain its pace as a thoughtful slice-of-life fantasy series that takes its time to meditate over death and the beauty of life or if those foundations will give way, transforming it into yet another action-centric fantasy anime in an

Subscription services are bad for game developers because instead of selling to millions of buyers (the players) you are selling to GamePass, who has immense leverage over you.

I’m perfectly fine shitting on someone who’s “just following orders” (my words, not yours). It reeks of capitalistic imperialism, the very notion of which should be stamped out and never, ever tolerated, regardless of whether it’s the norm or not.

Boy, would that suck for the consumers, employees, and everyone else NOT in that email thread.

Phil Spencer would devour and shit out the entire game industry if he could. He is a soulless capitalist who will burn it all down if he isn’t stopped.

Holy shit, just when I thought I couldn’t dislike Phil Spencer any more.

Dude’s idea of success is ‘buy all the competition’ rather than, you know, actually investing in his own developers to make better games.  Sure buddy, try to buy the company that has consistently trounced the shit out of you in console sales

It’s just taking a long time for Nintendo to see that their future exists off of their own hardware. A long time…. :-)

Nintendo consistently trounces Microsoft though.  Why would Nintendo want to be swallowed by smaller fish (by market share - clearly I realize Microsoft is larger than Nintendo overall)?
