Alaskan’s got a lot of great beers—their Amber and White are go-to’s of mine.

Whoa Wong Kar-wai is directing a series? That could be great

Also, MMMBop was produced by the Dust Brothers, and sounds like it, so that's a good thing.

The internet eats itself.

Yes, but what a weak ending that movie has.

And I'm just finishing it—it is! A little rambly in some part, it's unsurprising that someone who does so much press likes the sound of his own voice. But it's such a unique, interesting voice, and a book of "hey check out this thing I like" is a wonderful gift from a person who's career has revolved around taste.

Yeah, in Israel you can get french fries with shawarma and it's amazing.

Yeah I always found that extremely out-of-place, but just chalked it up to an oversight. Glad to know that studio bigwigs think that 5,120 isn't relatable and 51,201 is a small town.

Interesting video, but really angry that it reminded me of "Mind of Mencia"

It looks like The Lost World: Jurassic Park will also be leaving Sept 1.

Very informative article, and all the links and videos are a good place to start (I was 5 years old in 1996, so I wasn't very aware of what was going on). Any other books or websites you'd recommend?

Counterpoint: Paul McCartney plays drums on "Dear Prudence"

Used to go to there every summer, so many great memories. Riding Blue Streak over and over again at the end of the night, I hope they never tear that one down. One of my favorite things was how Cedar Point didn't have much theme stuff as opposed to Six Flags Great America. It was about the rides.

"Real Life" is so great.

Can't say I remember if these movies are actually good or not, but I wholeheartedly agree on the grittiness fatigue. I'd love for the James Bond franchise to ease up on the grittiness, which is maybe why I enjoyed Spectre more than most people.

It's already hard for me to imagine spending 11 minutes watching a fan theory video, and then I imagine the amount of time that went into making this video.
