I dont think this is intended to have the hackers shaken in their boots Fahey. Theres a difference between the hardcore hackers that broke the PS3 wideopen, who usually dont give a crap about online play or even most games for that matter, its all about the homebrew. But there are plenty of people out there that just

If the NGP also dispensed IPA, I think you'd have the ultimate entrainment device. Ha

@SanjiX: This announcement was more about the hardware not the software but the ones they showed were big names at least. You'll get plenty of titles come E3.

@methinkso: I meant it in the best way possible. ;)

@CockroachMan: Yoshida said 4-6 hours. Which is not bad not great but more than the 3DS which is only expected to get 3.5 hours with the 3D function on.

@KingHippo: I don't understand this article at all. I have no idea why he feels like that. It's strange.

@Eseph: Back then EA wasn't quite the whore it is now so that's the only reason. Ha

Why would you even title this article like you did? You know thats not going to be the case. If there is a platform out there EA will make games for it.

@methinkso: You're a douche, "End of story."

@Sotei: Your concern is 3rd party support? Umm I wouldn't worry yourself with that. Its a powerful system for sure but nothing says you can't make a cheap little downloadable title for it. They gave developers tons of controls/options to play with and I think you'll see some really great uses for it. Both the NGP

Sweet! Wilson is the man!

She also knows that the male characters portrayed in these games look nothing like the male gamers who play them right?

FYI, nothing Colbert does is wrong.

@Salari: I completely agree with you. The bandwidth is just not there yet or at least not affordable to most consumers to have downloading media the main option of attaining it. Physical media will be here for awhile for many reasons.

I see a lot of people worrying that the price will be $500+ for this thing. There's just no way that will happen. What made the PS3 so expensive at launch was the BD drive. I'm guessing this thing will be $250-$300 tops. It has to have competitive pricing to hang with the 3DS

@Tpadz: Dude I say pick up the GOW collection, its only like $30-$40 for two of the best games ever made on the PS2. In my opinion is totally worth it.

Sweet!! I cant wait to play this game! One of if not thee best hack and slash games ever made.

Already did and so far so good. Gotta get used to the feel of this game, very different than what I'm used too.

@monsterblues: Yeah something aint right with these numbers here. There's NO way its only a 23.7% failure rate with the 360 in the first two years. I dont believe that for a second. I think its more like 23.7% make it passed two years.

Makes sense why it would look as good on both systems with the PS3 as the lead. I've heard this since the beginning that the PS3 architecture translates perfectly to the 360 but not vice versa. Its just that its a little harder for the developers to develop games on the PS3 but its better for everyone when they do.
