Say what you want about LaVar, but you can’t deny that he’s got no shortage of Balls
I’m a Cavs fan, and I can’t wait to root for him on another team. Fuck the rest of this fucking team.
“I wish.”
Good Kinja, JR.
Well, I generally come into the game at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lebron can’t see me, heh - after that I sorta space out for an hour. Yeah, I just stare at the basket, but it looks like I’m thinking about taking a good shot. I do that for probably another hour after halftime, I’d…
You forgot Javale>errybody
Somebody help me understand what’s going on with Karl Anthony Towns. Is he not getting the ball in good spots? Were the rockets swarming him too quickly? There were a couple of times when Harden was guarding him near the basket and I’m thinking that should be an And1. But instead he’d miss!
As easy as it is to hate on Golden State, I’m a sucker for good ball movement. They are indisputably the best modern incarnation of that. And as a non-fan, there’s something about watching one of their guys heat up that’s like the slow climb to the top of a steep drop on a roller coaster. I didn’t see the Houston…
Say what you will about the Warriors, they are not a boring team, stylistically. They’re boring in that they took a great team and added Kevin Durant so it seems like an obscene amount of talent that shouldn’t be allowed in competitive leagues, but it’s beautiful basketball providing that you can separate yourself…
*butt wags uncontrollably*
Okay, have this treat then.
I have a dog-like complex. I’m easily excitable and run around on all fours.
Like the way a convict looks at the only female guard in the prison. It is all relative.
Yeah, that’s why a healthy Embiid has gotta be above him, IMO. He’s already a borderline elite defender and can carry a lot more on offense.
IMO, depending on the team around him, he is as valuable as any center in basketball other than Davis and potentially Embiid. Gobbling up an entire interior by oneself is extremely valuable, more valuable even than what Towns, Cousins and Jokic have on offer offensively. As good as those guys are, their production on…
Yeah, he’s basically Clint Capela with significantly better D, which is saying a lot, because Clint has become quite the rim protector in his own right.
Davis > Embiid > Towns/Gobert (both dominant on one end of the ball, occasionally catastrophic on the other) > Cousins > Jokic > Drummond > Howard > Getting run over by a car > Whiteside
Where are we ranking Gobert among the league’s top centers? Towns, Embiid, Jokic, and Cousins seem like the only guys you can make an argument for over him. (obviously Davis is #1 when he’s not insisting on being a 4) He’s a near-liability on offense at times for sure, but his defensive impact is just ridiculous.
