I was at the Leafs game the day of the Humboldt tragedy, and it was incredible to see the collective sadness transition into unbridled enthusiasm for the game. Very odd experience to see how one can lead to the other - hadn’t ever been at an event in person to feel it that way before.

My thought exactly. First of all who gives a fuck about pace of play if they are letting people play through and keeping pace with the group in front. Second of all it’s a game and supposed to be fun. Chill the fuck out golfers.

Love the point of the video when the Frat Bro (and Club owner?) with sunglasses and a Patagonia jacket tells a lawyer and head of the York NAACP she’s a real winner. Good call, bro. This will end well.

I get that 3>2, but if the defense tries so hard to take away the 3 that they don’t even guard the 12-foot shot, then eventually the midrange will become a decent shot again. Given how open Wall was in the midrange last night, I think this was: a) intentional, on the part of the Raps, and, b) potentially sustainable

It is not at all outside the realm of possibility that the Craptors will blow this.

Personally I find a team killing demar from midrange delightfully ironic

I get what you’re saying, but some of those other possessions late (Clarkson lol) were far more egregious. JR is probably on the short list of guys you want taking a leaning 35 footer at the buzzer.

Hey I’m a Rockets fan and I love the sound of that!

I really feel like if you’re an NBA team deciding between some kid from Duke or Europe in the draft, always go with the kid from Europe

Was watching last night with my 11 year old daughter. After the spin floater from the inbounds, she goes, “Holy crap that was rad”. Brought a tear to my eye.

“We’re not targeting you, Mr. President. We’re just waiting for you to blunder into our crosshairs.”

That’s not kinesio tape.. I told you, it’s his stache extending down his arm in order to power heal.

I agree. They are incredible. And with the reaction of the bench on the last one, you would have thought he dunked all over someone. I love this guy.

They did it to Durant too during a small press session. It’s disgusting. These guys all know Pop and if they don’t appear emotional enough they’d surely be raked over the coals for it (unfairly - but let’s be real). We shouldn’t be judging how emotional they are in any instance good or bad, they should’ve had a

It’s weirdly callous. LeBron’s played for Pop multiple times as part of Team USA and has repeatedly expressed his love and appreciation for the guy. Dropping that bomb on him is a dick move, and honestly I thought he handled it amazingly well.

I could not fucking believe they did that.

It kinda has taken over his life, but in a sort of positive way? I do hope his family found him a good therapist because he’s dealing with a world of trauma and pressure here.

He is truly wonderful. He was a part of a tragic horrific event, but instead of letting that moment take over his life, he is doing something about it. It reminds me of one of my favorite lines, from The Departed: “I don’t wanna be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me.”

God damn. This kid is doing work. I was happy hitting professional accomplishments before I ever expected too. This kid is out here changing the world before he can drink a beer.

President Hogg has a nice ring to it. This kid is getting shit done and doesn’t need to tweet NO COLLUSION! every day while he does it.
