Jeez, and I feel guilty when I have a small chocolate malt from Portillo's. Chocolate cake shake, here I come. Guilt be damned.

I have always heard that one of the ingredients in their chocolate cake shake is mayonnaise...now this may be an urban legend to scare off teens from inhaling these things, but I am not willing to pay to find out. I'll stick with the beef n cheddar croissant thanks

Never tried the chocolate cake shake, but their strawberry is incredible. It actually tastes of actual strawberries, which is a rarity these days. I also recommend the raspberry milkshake at Redamack's in New Buffalo if you're ever in that neck of the woods.

It tastes like a heavy, slightly sweet, slightly tasteless bread(banana bread like). It's definitely not as good as it sounds, but toasted with jam, it's a passable snack. If you are going to make it, add lots of sugar because it really doesn't taste like much.

It would taste like cake or "tea bread", because that's basically what it is, with the ice cream substituting for the butter, milk, eggs and sugar. It's a super-lazy version.
