For some reason this gave me an odd vision of how much it must suck to be a janitor at a render farm, cleaning an empty room and knowing that the damn machines are getting to do something much more interesting than you. (Joke's on them though; the hours suck.)

I know it shouldn't bother me, but Lucky Yates's total inability to pronounce German does rather ruin the gag.

Pam's a hard-drinking, bare-knuckle-boxing, drift-racing, gangland-connected pansexual farm girl who doesn't give a fuck. That's a strong independent woman, isn't it?

Yeah, I think this season demonstrated why most shows only do stunts like this for one episode.

I was rather expecting Ray and Cliff the drummer to show up at some point in that fight scene. Seems a bit of a waste when almost the whole episode took place at Dreamland.

Assassinception?

Atta boy!

One take? You think those actors were in the same room?

That's kind of adorable when they try to use liberal rhetoric. It's like watching a curious monkey play with a shotgun he just found - you don't know whether to look away because while it won't end well, it might still be grimly hilarious.

"According to The Economist, NASA is a government subsidy in disguise"
vs
"Oooooooohhhhh look at me, I read The Economist"

I think "terrible" is a bit much. But that shot was WAY above his pay grade. There aren't many actors in the world that can pull a shot like that off. (It doesn't help that MoN is regularly compared to Girls, whose lead actor is remarkably adept at shots like this.)

No we don't. There was investigation after investigation after investigation, all of which showed nothing. That's literally the opposite of "avoiding investigating at all costs, to the point of not even asking simple follow-up questions".

Yo dawg I heard you like mace so I put mace in your mace etc

Loving Scalia makes more sense than respecting him; he was a lousy judge who made little attempt to hide his Christian partisanship. I don't think it's good form to piss on a man's grave, but I'll piss all over his jurisprudence from every available angle. And I brought a lot of beer.

Well, it's working.

Oh sure, that's real nice, but somehow when a Republican makes comments about people's skin you snowflakes get all triggered!

We use words they don't understand. This annoys them. So they try to retaliate, assuming that the same effect will work in reverse. Like a cargo cult, they realise that words are powerful, but have no idea why. So they expect the magic words to act as sword, shield, umbrella and fleshlight, and then call us hypocrites

DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNNN!

Well just as long as that appalling racist Lena Dunham is off our screens, I can't see how this is problematic.
