As a Cubs fan the last two years, I finally got to realize the excruciatingly painful joy of being a fan of a legitimate contender. I hope every die-hard gets to experience the same joyful hell someday. The Indians will be back. That is a damn good baseball team.  

As a Cubs fan, all I can say is.... Be patient. The Indians did what the Cubs did last year, but actually got a game away from winning it. They will be back. That is a scary, dangerous baseball team. Hope they get healthy and we get a rematch next year.

I have been saying all year that if Heyward is the worst hitter in the lineup, I’m going to be a pretty happy guy. Because that means our lineup is stacked. He had a rough year. But given the progress that we have seen with other young guys, I’ve got a feeling Heyward will be a .280/75 rbi outfielder next year.
