Agreed. The MT82 can hold power. It’s really an issue with driveability and testing. After all these mods I’ve done the car shifts really nicely. but I still cant engage second gear if im over 7000RPM

The gt350 revs too high for the cheap MT82 OEM clutch to work. 

Honestly, we’ve been trying to sue ford for the MT82 since 2012 and they always beat the case. Over the years mustang owners have identified that the 2nd gear lockouts were due to a crappy clutch setup. Replacing the clutch will fix the issue, however the flywheel shakes upon decel so you have to replace that. Then…

As a gearhead, knowing how complicated automagic transmission are keeps me from owning a car with them. That’s my real motivation for driving a M/T, I have rebuilt a few and they are dead simple. Maybe i’ll switch to automagic after I get a scholarship to hogwarts.

My wife owned a gen 1 facelift tiburon. We put a 4-1 header on it and sticky tires - it was an absolute blast to drive daily. It handled amazingly well and the seats are some of the comfiest my ass has ever had the pleasure of farting in.
