My dad was stationed on the Ranger for a couple of months assigned to a two star's staff. I imagine this will bring back all kinds of memories and stories. He even watched from the deck of a cruiser as the Ranger collided with the MV Fortune in '79. He said it was crazy slow but amazing the amount of damage.

My issues with this is that GM knew for years about it and the NHTSA knew about it. Now I dont know what what point the NHTSA knew but it was post bailout then this screams of a cover up. The last thing the current administration needs is for GM post bailout the say Oh about that ignition thing, yeah the government

I was wondering how long it would take for an article on this ad to show up. Its such a piece of advertising propaganda its not even funny. This same sort of thing happened today on the way to work. Love my co-workers but they are not very knowledgeable about cars. One asked if my 09 was a brand new MKVII GTI...

While working at the local Dodge dealer for a number of years the only cars we mad the policy of checking credit for was the SRT-10 trucks and the single Viper we had. LOTS of people wanting to test drive the SRT-10s and never had any intention of buying. Just putting miles on them. The Viper we never actually sold to

Almost all of the BMC made cars in the UK end being rust buckets...literally. Cars rusts like crazy over there. Maybe not so much now with the better steel in cars and rust proofing.

Not my car but in the family. We were visiting my dads parents and his 2002 Jetta VR6 needed an oil change. I told him multple times there is a VW dealer just down the street, yes you'll pay more but you generally get better service at a dealer then Jiffy Lube. Not always the case I know... So he takes it to Jiffy

Exactly, I have talked to a number of Toyota sales people that I have known for over ten years. They all say that interest was high when it came out but the lack of power and lack of usability as a single car were some of the major turn offs for buyers. Now sales have slumped and most dealers in the area have plenty

Two problems with Lexus right now.

I have only actualy been to a couple airports, Richmond, Atlanta, Norfolk, Dulles and Gatwick(when I flew to London for vacation a few years back). Gatwick wasn’t to bad just very busy and packed into the area it occupies. Atlanta was good the first two times but the last time I got stuck in the airport after a freak

I imagine this conversation is going on....

Im no chopper expert but I had a feeling the AH-64 was a tougher and faster heli than the previous commenter was letting on.

This crap only works when the local PD has other things to do other than keep an eye for anything and everything. Try driving with anything that would fail a state inspection and you will get nailed for it. Local county cops are bored out of their minds most of the time but I must admit the crime rate is nonexistent

Yeah 300HP is a ton of power in a car that will be bought by families mainly. My dads 07 E350 with 268HP is quite fast for a family saloon car. I have ridden in 300 HP GTIs, those are crazy fast. Hell even my APR stage two GTI surprises most people.

Once they move the Beetle to the MQB platform I would really like to see the Beetle do a couple of things. The roofline has to be lowered, yes it recalls the shape of the old one but its too bloody tall and feels like a cavern inside. Make the interior more like the rest of the model lineup. The current model just

Didnt MB at one point say they were not going to be making the G class anymore?

Lets hope for a more powerful SI also. The SI really needs more power compared to the ST, GTI and other rivals.

Four VW GTIs and no major issues. Family owned one Subaru Outback, never again....

Yeah what the hell is that?

Same with the M3, everyone tires to beat BMW at its own game and cant. Everyone tries to beat Porsche at its own game and cant...
