And in all honesty it was actually Shelby who beat Ferrari. Ford tried for years and couldn't do it with almost unlimited resources. Ford went to Shelby and asked if he could do it. So from what i can gather it was Shelby who beat Ferrari with Ford's money. They turned GT40 into a Le Mans winning car.

Very cool. A lot of people forget that Ford/Shelby made a few street legal versions of the GT40 and sold them to the public.

Yeah the whole tire inflation system infraction was bogus IMO but the fact remains his approach to the race needs to be rethought.

While I would love to see Robbie win the Dakar his approach so far has been totally wrong. The Dakar isn't a race that favors the brash and overly aggressive. Been watching the Dakar for over ten years now and those that attempt to force a win normally end up trashing their vehicle in the attempt. There are to many…

I keep seeing posts about how awesome it is to own a used luxury car, Benz, BMW, Audi etc. Its so cheap to buy one since the depreciation as taken its toll on the fist owner that its a good buy. Dont let that fool anyone. I worked a dealer for 10 years and saw all kinds of crazy…

The thing about VW is that in Germany they have a Workers Council. Current US law states they they can't just create one like in Germany. They need some sort of work representation like the UAW. The problem is the works are for the council but not the UAW. I stand with the workers, they don't need nor want the UAW.
