The G8 wasn't flashy by any means. And the SS is clearly aimed at the enthusiast, so why go with such a mundane exterior?

It's a literal junk in the trunk car

Sorta feel like GM missed the point on the SS. It just doesn't look special, more akin to a beefier Camry.

As a G8 owner, one of the draws to that car was the pure aggressiveness that oozes from it's exterior when someone walks by. More than once I've had people stop in their place and just stare for a second (helps that it's sort of a rare-ish car).

Oh I agree, it's just an indicative notion on how we conduct business here now. The key is we COULD build a super car. By the fact is they'll spend so much time patting themselves on the back it'll never be completed.
