I'm gonna quote Tarantino here, since this is pretty much the same thing.

I have a great idea.
Nah I do agree with you on some of these points, but for the scale of the game, I've come to accept the fact that there's always going to be weird little things that happen. I do think that, given the impressive scale and immersion of the game that it is still well-made.
I hope people one day understand that not enjoying a game is not necessarily related to whether the game is good or not.
Good, good times. Also, the Parasite Eve reference is equally appreciated.
My brother, is that an Evil Zone reference? I would post that gif of Snake and Otacon doing the handshake/bro hug, but I am on my phone at the moment.
You know, I think poor Tali'Zorah must first endure bullying from people 20-30 years older than her on Kotaku before she has to worry about the toddlers and children who, in fact DON'T have anything better to do than to nitpick at a name.
"You have no idea how bullying works, do you?"
"You have no idea how bullying works, do you?"

I, for one, welcome our new multicolored, holiday-aware-search-engine overlords.
It's not even worth posting the Michael Jackson popcorn gif.
Too much effort for how often it's used here.
I'll notify the coroner immediately.
Yo dawg I love all of those RPGs you just mentioned but they all have shit dialogue too, especially Breath of Fire III.
Dunno why you have such venom for Lost Odyssey, it's just as good as any of those you listed.
As a Kentuckian currently living in Japan, this has my approval.
I'm talking about Brawl and Melee both, here, btw.
And yes, I will argue that someone can win in Street Fighter without combos, because it happens all the time. But you're taking Brawl and Melee and pitting them against 25 years of Street Fighter and all of its iterations and evolutions. Notice now that death combos…
Soul Calibur V was played last year, but the hyped release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 eclipsed that. I think it came down to a lack of availability and scheduling conflicts. SCV is a great game played competitively in its own right, though.
Your passive aggressive passive aggressive comment leads me to believe you are rather most defensively vexed by the concept of factual information (the fact being that Sakurai never designed it as a competitive game at first, and thus it is not one. Artistic intention trumps all.) counteracting your own, minority…
The difference is that you can still win in Street Fighter without combos if you have fundamentals. That doesn't work against someone who uses a wavedash, abuses an infinite punch loop, an infinite throw chain, or whatever else.
Those are my feels. I detest players who use esoteric exploits and glitches and call them a feature of "competitive" Smash.
